day 21

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. - Ephesians 1:17

 God, in the midst of the mess
gratitude, in the midst of the mess
faith, clinging to hope in the distress
struggle
resistance
showing up

But what if we:
don't show up
don't wait
don't allow the struggle to happen
don't allow ourselves to feel the pain, the intensity of the battle. 

If we take ourselves out before we can experience God's Spirit moving. We will miss out on true, life-giving freedom.

Are you still asking? 
Are you asking with belief and hope? And when you run out of belief and hope, are you asking God for more of both?
