colors: green and yellow

Finally, the crocuses are forcing their way through the ground. Pretty unbelievable considering it is still in the low 20's in the early mornings... I am so ready for spring.

Working on the pattern, child's placket neck sweater, while I am knitting the yoke of my coraline. Yarn is all knit picks from my stash. Pattern from "Last-Minute Knitted Gifts" by Joelle Hoverson. Love this book-I have used it so many times.

On a totally different topic, bread is rising this morning for one purpose. I'm making brown betty for dessert tonight and need more bread. My first recipe to try from "rustic fruit desserts". So looking forward to the end of the day.
