happy thanksgiving.

The kids and I have worked a bit on a Thanksgiving play, Squanto's life in five scenes. It has been cool to see how working on lines makes the facts sink into their minds, it has also been good for me to really spend sometime thinking about where we as Americans have come, and how amazing our history is.

I'm thankful for so many things, big and small, trivial and not so, one thought that stays prominent in my mind is how blessed I am with having four. healthy children. That was always my prayer when I was pregnant- not whether they would be boys or girls (although I am sure Luke wishes I would have prayed for another brother for him) or other physical attributes - just healthy. And they all are - so much so that I should have been praying for the energy to go with four, healthy children. ;) I am blessed.
