winter means new winter hats.

So, each of the kids chose what kind of hat they wanted and colors. I had made Hannah's first (this Fall?) with the Jane pattern and lovely yarn from The Plucky Knitter. Next was Luke's, using the pattern from "Last-Minute Knitting" with stash yarn. Lizzie's was next being another pointed elf hat from "More Last-Minute Knitting" and alpaca yarn from my friend Amy. Alli's was last. She wanted stars and a puff in the back with ties. So, no specific pattern - just lots of help from various patterns - all yarn but the white is yarn from Quince and Co. in lark.

Now, just to share some truth with you. I am ahead of schedule this year, this is the first year that I have made a hat for Matheau and the kids before Christmas. In the past, I am finally getting caught up by February. ;)
