mother's day.

Mother's Day was super. Matheau took me out to lunch yesterday, and the kids surprised me with gifts from the discovery hour classes at church. AND I finished my Mom's socks just in the nick of time. (We had purchased some lavender plants for my Mom-in-law).

I have been craving some really good cup-cakes and after seeing Abby's cupcake notecards I had to make some. I made the vanilla bean cupcakes but I think I should have pulled them out of the oven a minute or two earlier. I made half with a chocolate frosting and half with lemon.
