a month of parties.

photo from Sweet Rose Farm CSA Autumn party.

So, this morning I have made a batch of chili (now simmering) and 2 batches of white chocolate buttercream frosting. The chili and frosting are for the family birthday party for the girls today. This week I have managed to make 7 layers for a rainbow cake, a cheesecake with an oreo crust and mini cheesecakes, blueberry banana cake and the normal week of food prep for a family of six. {recipe info. coming.} Besides birthday prep we have had our end of season party at Sweet Rose Farm - the food was amazing, and I spend the day yesterday in Springfield taking courses to keep my stott pilates certification up. I also had a small bit of time to hit a flea market and thrift store before heading home. More coming on that as well. :)

It has been a busy week, but a great one. Hoping your weekends are great ones.
