autumn school snack idea!

In second grade, the kids get to take a snack once a month. Liz has been excited since she brought home the calendar with her day. She really wanted capri-suns. Nothing against capri-suns, but I was voting for waters. So to make the water a bit more exciting, I made labels for the water bottles. I had four jokes I used (thanks to Martha Stewart Kids, a September/October back issue I think? And thanks to Aubin for sharing an issue.) and after printing them out, cut them and just used a bit of hot glue to adhere the edges to each of the bottles. I didn't take long once the labels were made. To go along with the waters, Liz wanted each classmate to get 2 monster cookies. So I made the monster cookies small enough to fit 2 in the snack sized bags.

If you click on the labels, it should enlarge to 8.5 x 11. Feel free to print and use!

  1. Another great idea! Sadly ours don't get to take snacks in (even in turns) but they do get given fruit free from the school so that's fine. Mine would also try to choose capri-sun! Bethx

  2. Thank you again. Fruit is good-it is great they offer it at the school!
