maple ice cream recipe.

A new favorite at our house. Super simple to make and perfect alone or with a warm piece of apple crisp!

"easy-peasy" maple ice cream
-found in "Apples for Jam" by Tessa Kiros-

-1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
-1 cup heavy cream
-1 cup milk
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix together the cream and maple syrup in a large bowl. Whisk in the milk  and vanilla. Pour into your ice cream maker and churn, following manufacturers instructions.

After it finishes in the ice cream maker, transfer to a bowl/container with a lid. Cover with a piece of wax or parchment paper, and then seal the lid. Freeze in freezer for 4 hours.
